Welcome New Board Members!
Dr. Dontal Johnson of The Meharry Clinic and Dr. Tobi Amosun of Academy Children's Clinic Join CPF Board as Community Representatives
Congratulations to Dr. Dontal Johnson of The Meharry Clinic and Dr. Tobi Amosun of Academy Children's Clinic, CPF's two new Board members! Drs. Johnson and Amosun emerged as the winners of this year's election. We are grateful for their willingness to serve and look forward to their leadership and guidance.

Thank you as well to the rest of this year's Board Nominees! All three have agreed to join CPF Committees, which lead the charge for CPF programming:
  • Dr. Jennifer Ess, Academy Children's Clinic - Joined Networking Committee
  • Dr. Vicky Phillips, Old Harding Pediatric Associates - Joined Education Committee
  • Dr. Toni-Ann Wright, Rivergate Pediatrics - Joined Networking Committee
As we welcome and celebrate two new board members - and expanded involvement for several others - we also owe a debt of gratitude to the board members who are finishing their terms:
  • Dr. Mike Ladd of Green Hills Pediatric Associates - Dr. Ladd has been a CPF Board member for the last 6 years, along with Chair of the Education Committee and Captain of the Community Bowling Team. Dr. Ladd will continue to serve on the Education Committee and is expected to retain his Bowling Captain status when in-person events are able to resume. A video made a year ago where Dr. Ladd had to protect the Bowling Trophy from Vanderbilt Faculty and Residents is linked below for your enjoyment.
  • Dr. Deepak Mehrotra of Children's Clinic East - Dr. Mehrotra has also been a CPF Board member for the last 6 years. He served as CPF Vice President from 2016 to 2018 and then as President from 2018 until June 2020. Dr. Mehrotra is a member of CPF's Education and Networking Committees and will serve in the Past President role on the board for the next two years.
  • Dr. Elizabeth Triggs of Green Hills Pediatric Associates - Dr. Triggs was first elected to the CPF Board in 2012 and has spent the last two years serving as Past President after terms as Vice President from 2014 to 2016 and President from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Triggs also serves on CPF's Education Committee.
