Last Day at Crudgington

By Mrs Rhoden on Oct 16, 2020 12:26 pm

As you are aware I am leaving school today. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents/carers for their continued support over the past 11 years, after  Breakfast Club and Wraparound Club was first run by a committee it has gone from strength to strength. I wish all the children and parents, past and present all the best for the future. I am looking forward to going into pastures new, but have many happy memories of my time at Crudgington.

All the best and stay safe.

Mrs Jane Rhoden (Breakfast Club Manager and Administrator Assistant)

Parking

By Mrs Cunningham on Oct 16, 2020 10:18 am

Could we please remind parents and carers dropping off and collecting their children –

Parking on the lane, please only park on the right hand side of the lane (as you drive in) as parking on both sides can be dangerous and cause congestion for people coming in/out of the main car park – please do not park in the yellow box area or where any cones are placed.

There are plenty of spaces in the main car park now with the staggered timings and lane parking should only be used if the car park is full.

Also please take care when driving slowly in/out of the entrance to the school as children and parents do walk down the lane also and care should be taken to ensure their safety.

Many thanks for your support in this

Telford Crisis – Harvest Collection

By Mrs Cunningham on Oct 15, 2020 09:55 am

Thank you to everyone who contributed this morning to our Harvest Collection for Telford Crisis.

You donated a fantastic amount of items for a very good cause and they have said a big thank you for your kindness.

We were able to take a photograph outside of some of the children from Class 5 with the items donated.

Many thanks for your support

Flu immunisation forms

By Mrs Cunningham on Oct 14, 2020 08:43 am

Could the flu immunisation forms be returned to school as soon as possible please.

They were all issued earlier this week and it would be extremely helpful if we could have them all returned by the end of this week.

We have a few spare copies in the school office if you have lost your form.

Even if you do not give consent for your child to have the immunisation you will need to document this on the form and return it to school please.

Many thanks

Mrs Cunningham

Children In Need Day

By Mrs Cunningham on Oct 12, 2020 12:18 pm

This year we will once again be supporting Children In Need Day which will be held on Friday 13th November 2020.

For £1 donation the children will be able to dress up in any multi-coloured or spotty clothing.

We will also be selling some wristbands and pin badges at £1 each.

This year all donations will be on Parentpay only.

Payments for wristbands and pin badges will also be on Parentpay. There is a limited number of each of these for sale ( 60 of each ) and they will only be on sale week commencing 9th November via Parentpay. These will be on a first come first served basis – the items will be delivered to classes the day after payment has been made.

Please ensure that your donation payments are made separately to the payment for the badges and wristbands – this will be stated on the ParentPay payment options.

Many thanks for supporting this worthwhile cause.

Dropping off and Collecting Your Children

By Mrs Cunningham on Oct 12, 2020 09:55 am

Please may we remind all Parents/Carers that unless you have an exemption  – you are asked to wear face masks on the car park and playground when bringing children to, and collecting children from school, this includes Breakfast Club and Wraparound drop offs and collections.

Parents/carers are reminded that they should be standing on the marked areas in the playgrounds, adhering to social distancing, and not standing in groups.

Once you have collected your children at the end of the day please do not allow them to run around the playgrounds – as once collected parents and children should be leaving the playground, even if you are the last class to come out of school.

Thank you for your continued support in upholding the procedures we have put in place to protect everyone.

Many thanks
