Danley Global Newsletter | October, 2020
The team here at Danley is very excited to release this month’s newsletter, we have been very busy in our continuing drive to be the industry leader in innovative loudspeaker technology. We are proud to announce two new products to the Danley line-up, the SM90, and the BC215.  In addition to that, we spotlight two recent installations that feature our Jericho J7-95. Also, Josh Millward discusses the new DNA plug-in interface and Ivan has some interesting notes here as well.

Please keep a sharp eye out for our November newsletter where we will have a very big announcement.

SM90 AVAILABLE

This installation loudspeaker aims at the heart of the market with a flexible solution for a wide variety of applications.  The SM90 features our patented Synergy Horn technology with a wide 90° conical horn, a 12”/1” coaxial driver, and a very broad, detailed frequency response.  The SM90 also features three different mounting bracket options, wall, ceiling/suspension, and pan/tilt via threaded rear inserts.  Have a look at the video or the webpage for more information.  Learn more

BC215 AVAILABLE

Based on our heralded BC Series of low frequency horn architecture the BC215 brings a new level of portability and modularity to the BC line up.  Multiple horn exits allow for various configurations to offer extremely flexible configurations.  The “standard” BC configuration offers unrivaled low frequency pattern control while the optional exits offer a low profile configuration for lower stage heights.  See more on the new BC215 in the video below or visit the webpage for more information.  Learn more

DNA Series Update
Our partners at Linea Research have released a plug-in that allows control of the DNA Series of Danley amplifiers. The new plug-in offers control of the amplifier Input Gains and Mutes, as well as Output Mutes and Snapshot Recall. Amplifier status and fault notifications are reported to the plug-in for further handling within the Q-Sys environment.

These plugins may be used with many of the Danley Sound Labs amplifiers to provide control and monitoring of the amplifiers from directly within the Q-Sys platform.
Please use the following plugins with the following amplifiers:

44M Plugin:
- DNA 20K4 Pro
- DNA 10K4 Pro

48M Plugin:
- DNA 10K8 Pro
- DNA 3K8 Pro

88C Plugin:
- DNA 10K8c
- DNA 3K8c

Please note that the DNA SC48 and the DNA 5K4c do not share this feature, only the above listed amplifiers may be remotely controlled and monitored with the appropriate plugin.

These plugins are available in the most recent release of DNA System Engineer which is available at the Danley Sound Labs Website:
https://www.danleysoundlabs.com/dna-system-engineer/

After installing DNA System Engineer on your computer, go to:
Documents > System Engineer > Third Party Control > QSys Plugins
to find the plugins for Qsys and load them into your QSys installation.

These DNA amplifiers are also available as a built in Intelligent Module in the Symetrix Composer software, for those who are interested in using the Symetrix platform.
