Updates!
It's time for a couple of updates:

NAME CHANGE
Some of you have asked what is happening with our name change. 
We filed our name change application with the government at the end of August.  If they find there to be no issues with our application, they will provide a certificate to indicate our name has officially changed from Christ's Church of the Meadows to Refinery Church.  The application process takes about 3 months, so we expect to hear from them near the end of November.  Once we receive the certificate of name change, we will officially be known as Refinery Church!  We will then inform Canada Revenue Agency and the various groups we do business with (Epcor, Telus, Waste Management, etc).  Until then, we continue under our current name.

TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER
Total Money Makeover is a 4 week course designed to help you move towards financial health.  Whether your finances are in good shape, or they are in no shape, you will gain valuable insight on managing your money.  Based on Biblical principles, the course examines topics such as debt, savings, spending, and generosity.  This course is open to everyone, so please let your friends or family know about it.  Don't delay registering!

The course will run Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm, from October 26 to November 16.  Cost is $25 per individual or couple, to cover the cost of the workbook.
