If you're trying to set and control a uniform color palette this is a plugin worthy of your consideration.



It will work for Gutenberg or the Classic Editor.  It just has a few options which makes it easy to use.

By the middle of next year you probably won't need this plugin because Gutenberg will have become a Full Site Editor making it simple to set global colors.

But for now and if you're sticking with the Classic Editor here is a way to set and manage your site's colors.
