This week's kind challenge is all about gratitude. Being grateful is a great way to help us feel happier (and when we feel happy, it makes us more likely to be kind to others too!)

Kind Story of the Week

A McDonald's drive-thru worker has been secretly paying for people’s food, as an act of kindness. The Metro News reported that Enya Vegere has spent more than £50 on other people. She said: “I just think it’s nice to do nice things for people .You never know what someone is going through and what a kind gesture could do.”  (Image: J. Henry)

Did You Know?

It's impossible to feel angry and grateful at the same time. When we feel grateful, our brain releases amazing chemicals that help us feel happier.

Self-Kindness Tip of
the Week

Anytime you’re feeling a bit worried or angry, try sitting quietly and taking some deep breaths for 20 seconds. Imagine you are breathing in kindness and calmness and breathing out all of your worries.
