Family News & Updates

New names, leaders and material

Last week we announced the new names for our preschool and primary-aged ministries to replace LPC, Kindy Kids and KBG. They are:

  • Coro Juniors (replacing LPC & Kindy Kids)
  • Coro Kids (replacing KBG)
We also commissioned Sue Klar into the Coro Juniors leadership team with specific responsibility for our kindy-age kids and prayed for Delwyn Bennett who will shortly be stepping into the Coro Juniors Coordinator role as Heather Trainor takes some time off with the arrival of bubs #2.

Both Coro Juniors and Coro Kids also started a new curriculum Simply Loved - the kids simply loved it!
Church Picnic

We had a wonderful time of connecting over lunch after church last week with our Church Picnic - we're hoping to do these twice a term in the good weather - keep posted for the next one!

GENTS Camp SA 2020

Several of our youth were part of GENTS Camp SA 2020 - the biggest yet with 100 boys from grades 7 to 10. It was an amazing time of spiritual growth and leadership development across the ages as well as loads of physical fun.

Check out this action-packed 90sec clip for a snapshot of this annual 5-day event. We'll be hearing more about this from some of our youth this week as well as what's available for our younger boys (ages 8-12) in the upcoming GENTS SA Father & Sons Camp (see previous item).
