Blood Drive
North Meck's HOSA club is working with The Red Cross is doing a virtual blood drive. During a virtual blood drive any person 16 or older may donate blood at any Red Cross Blood Drive and have it count towards North Meck's donation goal. To donate for North Meck please follow the following directions. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Semmler at emily1.semmler@cms.k12.nc.us
The number of donations determines how much scholarship money the school gets from Red Cross.
To count toward our virtual blood drive goal:
3. Schedule an appointment for the Red Cross blood drive of your choice. You can pick the day and time that’s most convenient for you.
4. On the day of your blood donation, complete your RapidPass and arrive at your appointment time. Don’t forget to eat, drink plenty of water, sleep well and bring your ID!
5. Enjoy the experience and help save lives with North Mecklenburg High School
If allowed by state law: Donors who are 16 years old can participate by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment and confirm with Emily C Semmler once you’re scheduled.
Let’s save lives together!

Study Abroad Opportunity
Traveling to England and Ireland in Summer 2022 will be such an adventure!
I believe one of the best ways to help students gain new perspectives and build skills for the future is through experiential learning. Travel is an opportunity for students to experience a new way of life and the invaluable chance to develop a sense of independence before graduating.
Register for the virtual parent information meeting on Tuesday, October 27th at 6:30pm EST to learn more. Follow this link to send your response: https://bit.ly/3d8vgYV
