ALL Warren Public Library locations are OPEN with the following restrictions:
- Patrons must wear a mask while in the library.
- Patrons entering the library must fill out a health screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken by staff. Patrons with a temperature of 100.4 F or higher must leave the library immediately.
- Computer usage is limited to one 90 minute session per day.
- Patron library visit is limited to 90 minutes per day for computer access, reference, and checkout of materials.
- Social distancing will be enforced. Patrons are required to remain at least 6 feet apart.
- All of our library buildings have occupancy limits. Please be patient with us if we ask you to wait to enter.
Curbside Pickup is Available at the Civic Center Library only
The Warren Public Library is offering curbside pickup for physical library materials at the Civic Center Library only.
Curbside pickup hours are:
Fridays
9 am - 4:30 pm
Please call the library at 586.751.0770 at least one hour before you arrive so we can have your materials ready for you.
When you arrive at the library, please go to the designated area on the south side of the library near the butterfly garden. There are signs directing you to our curbside pickup area. Call to let us know you are here for pickup and we will bring your items to you. You will need to show your driver's license or library card.

DIY Winter-Themed Gift Jars - Take and Make Craft

School Supplies Catapults - Virtual Program (Zoom Event)

Supplies will be available at the checkout desk from November 16-19.
Tweens and teens can pick up a craft kit to make your own mini catapult out of school supplies. Register with an email address for the November 19th Zoom meet up to get a walk through creating your catapult and challenge other tweens and teens to see whose catapult can launch marshmallows the farthest. Zoom meet up information will be emailed out on November 18. Please do not share your Zoom password. If you are unable to pick up the craft supplies, you can still follow along with the following items: wooden ruler or paint stirrer stick, 9 pencils, a thick rubber band, a small cup, duct tape, and marshmallows. Join us for a story, a song, and other fun stuff as we shake up our usual storytime with a different letter each week. The fall session will feature the letters A to M.
Registration is required which includes your email address. Parents registering will receive an email link to a Zoom meeting. If you cannot attend the Zoom meeting, a recorded version will be available on the library's Facebook page. Families who register can pick up an egg shaker and scarf to use at each class.
