Dear Faithful of Annunciation,
Good news!
As of Tuesday, September 29, the status of activities for Sacramento County allows for places of worship to open with modifications. For Annunciation, we can now have up to 100 people in Church (25% of our capacity). All services going forward will be held in our Church! Please review our updated guidelines and protocols which will be in place, so don’t forget your masks!
Unfortunately, people online seem to be imitating Fr. Timothy, me, and other clergy in our Archdiocese, asking for donations and other requests. Please carefully read below an update regarding our Parish communications and cyber security.

Many parishes in our Archdiocese, including many of our own parishioners, have been targeted by e-mail phishing scams asking for favors, donations in the form of gift cards, or other odd requests. We will NEVER ask for donations in the form of gift cards or other odd requests in any form for any of our ministries and philanthropies. Parish Stewardship and other donations (like candle and tray offerings) will always use our secure CCB (Church Community Builder) portal.
When in doubt, please call the Parish Office before submitting your credit card information online.

Team Nick Voresis, our Parish, and the Run to Feed the Hungry

TEAM NICK VORESIS is back for an eighth year of participation in Sacramento's Run To Feed The Hungry. TEAM NICK VORESIS is our PARISH TEAM for the annual Run to Feed the Hungry, supporting local families through the efforts of the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
In 2018 and 2019 alone, TEAM NICK VORESIS was the second-highest fundraising team and generated over 20,000 meals for Sacramento families in need. Due to COVID-19, the hungry in our community need us now more than ever before. Help our parish make a difference, JOIN TEAM NICK VORESIS!
