CELEBRATION OF VETERANS
Wednesday, November 11
8:30am in the Sanctuary

We are excited to continue a cherished tradition of honoring the veterans of our church and community on Veterans day.  It is always a meaningful time as we celebrating the men and women who have proudly served this nation as a member of the Armed Forces.

Instead of the traditional breakfast served just to our Veterans, the celebration is being moved to the Worship Center. That provides us room to safely gather and follow our protocol of socially distanced seating. This move also provides space for family and friends who would like to attend. There will be both mask optional and mask required sections on the ground floor.

We are honored to help lead this celebration. Music will be provided by country music legend and FBCH member Tim Atwood. Tim has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage for 38 years and is the proud father of Iraq war veteran Purple Heart recipient Torre Atwood.

The theme this year is “We See You”. A special tribute will include a pictorial presentation of our Veterans in uniform. If you have a picture you would like to have included, please bring it by the main church office or the Weekley Building office between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. We will quickly scan the picture and hand it back to you while you wait. Pictures are needed by Wednesday, November 4.

The ministry of FBCH continues.
