Craft Award Talks - Register Now!
Celebrating our 2020 Awards Recipients!

Join us in celebrating the 2020 Craft Award Recipients! This year, due to COVID-19, we are unable to have the Craft Award Ceremony in person. As an alternative, we will be digitally hosting the Craft Award Talks to give an opportunity for the recipients to share their work!

Over the next four Mondays: Oct 26, Nov 2, 9 and 16, tune in between 7-8 pm to find out more about the work of this year's recipients, including 11 fantastic artists, and Denis Longchamps as the 2020 Mather Award winner.

Explore intersections between making, culture and material innovation:

Co-presented by Harbourfront Centre and Craft Ontario, this online event features talks and panel discussions from fourteen local, national and international craft artists, designers, educators and scientists who focus on materiality in their work.

The Material Sampling symposium will take place over two weekends, November 14th-15th and November 19th-21st, and will be hosted on harbourfront.live.

Responding to the current era of rapid and accelerating change to the landscape, ‘Mass Wasting’ explores the impact(s) of environmental destabilization through the lens of craft practice. This exhibition aims to address the psychic, social, cultural, and political impact of environmental unpredictability as identified by artists working in diverse craft media. It also considers the ways in which instability can open up fissures of possibility — opportunities for change and innovation. More Information

2020 Annual Cape Dorset Print Collection - Now for Sale!


 You can officially purchase a print from the 2020 Annual Cape Dorset Print Collection.

Since 1959 Dorset Fine Arts has released an annual collection of Inuit prints created by the artists of Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Nunavut, in the Canadian Arctic.

This world-renowned selection of prints demonstrates the mastery and unique style of the Cape Dorset artists, as well as the diverse and divine inspirations of the North.
