TCV Weekly News: 22nd October 2020

Kia ora koutou

Morning All!
Been busy this week editing our upcoming video's. We are still awaiting approval from Barnardos New Zealand to release the open day video.

It was great to see some of our member organisations at the show on Friday. I got to catch up with Barnardos Gisborne, Hospice Tairawhiti and Alzheimer's Gisborne/Tairawhiti. Although the weather was all over the place I heard there was a good turn out on the Saturday.

There is only 4 days left to get in your Nan Evans Nominations for 2020. We are excited to have received lots of interest this year and we look forward to presenting the recipient with the Taonga at our AGM.

Introducing Maggie (the iron lady) our entry in the A and P show this year. She came second!! And our handcrafted baby blanket got a very deserving third place. Well done to all those from the
Alzheimers Gisborne Sherwood Club who helped make these.

Our educators are available in most regions to hold presentations and training for staff in schools, care homes, residential homes, workplaces, day facilities and more. To find out more about the content of the session please contact your regional educator on 0800 374537. If an educator isn't available in your area they may be able to assist with online training for staff.
Thank you to Hohepa Canterbury for allowing this photo to be taken during their training.
