VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION
Do you have an item, service, or experience you'd like to donate to help us fund-raise for St. John's? We are looking for a diverse set of items, from big to small, and anywhere in between. Need some inspiration?
Here are a couple of items that will be featured:
You'll be able to bid on a Beach House in Narragansett, RI. Spend a relaxing week at the beach, staying half a mile from the beautiful Narragansett Town Beach. The house is just a few houses down from the Pettaquamscutt River where you can paddle board and kayak after a morning relaxing at the beach. The house is three bedrooms and three full baths, with a peaceful deck and backyard that looks out over a nature preserve. Deer, wild turkeys and foxes regularly amble through the yard. Maggie and Chris Dietrich have donated this vacation get-away in support of St. John's fundraising efforts.
You will also be able to bid on this cute new Wallaroo Hat!

To submit a donation, please contact Maggie Dietrich at Maggied18@gmail.com, Cathy Wanat at cgwanat@gmail.com, or Teresa Dudunake at tdudunake@hotmail.com or 413-320-6504. Please send a long a photo, if possible! Thank you!
VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS FAIR
December 5th - 12th
St. John’s is re-imagining the Christmas Fair and we need your help! Because of the ongoing pandemic, we have decided to host the fair virtually. The community will be able to safely browse and purchase a selection of crafts online. We are looking for crafters willing to donate their handiwork for sale and volunteers to help coordinate pick up, delivery and shipping on December 12th.

For questions, donations, or to sign up to volunteer, please contact Maggie Dietrich at Maggied18@gmail.com, Cathy Wanat at cgwanat@gmail.com, or Teresa Dudunake at tdudunake@hotmail.com or 413-320-6504.
WAYS TO HELP THE COMMUNITY
The Friends of Hampshire County Homeless Individuals are forming a supply team that would help with organizing our current supply of personal hygiene items along with collecting ongoing supplies, including the clothing that is currently being collected.  All items are located in the basement of First Churches but need some cleaning out.  Since many hands make light work we are looking for volunteers to join this committee.  If you are willing to help out, please email info@hamphomeless.org.
Dear Friends - For those of you interested in helping the Northampton community during this time when we are not able to provide meals for the cot shelter, here is a message from Cathedral in the Night:

We know collectively there has been so much grief and heartache over the last few months, so we thought we would start updating you on some of the amazing things that have happened during the pandemic.

1. We are currently reaching more folks on Sundays- we are currently serving at least 90-100 meals each week.
2.  We give away care packages to supplement the lack of food during the week - this has been possible through your donations through the Amazon Wishlist and donations by David Starr, owner of Berkshire Natural - healthy vending machine snacks.
3.  More organizations are working together than ever before and are coming up with creative ways to help in this time.
4.  We have volunteers helping us with the extra work of packaging food.
We are still serving all our meals to go which has meant we have needed more volunteers to make this work.  If you are interested in volunteering on Sunday afternoons, please let us know.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP:
1. Donate toward a meal or care packages
Click here to donate through paypal
You can donate on Facebook - there are no fees this way
Click here and on our most recent post you will see a donate button
You can send a check made out to Cathedral in the Night Ministry and mail it to 867 N. Pleasant St. Amherst, MA 01002
2. Amazon Wishlist for Care-Packages - You can purchase things off our Amazon wish list - we are trying to make high protein care-packages each week to help with the decreased access to food. When you check out, in your address list will pop up our registry address which will say THE HOMESTORE STEPHANIE SMITH
Click here for our Amazon Wishlist for care-packages
3.  Provide food - if your church or organization can cover a meal for 80 people or even if you want to cook something we can freeze along with others to make a meal - let us know.  Currently we need food Nov 8, Nov 22, Dec 13 and Dec 27th.  Please email if you are interested - info@cathedralinthenight.org
