Happenings
Hey all!

This has been a long week for a lot of people and I hope you are all holding in there! Hopefully this newsletter offers a bit of respite from the news cycle. Remember to drink water and check in with yourselves!

I'm taking over the newsletter from Tyler for a bit. We've got a good issue today with a new design for the newsletter and some awesome hacks, happenings, jobs, and more.

Definitely let us know if you have any thoughts about this new newsletter design - feel free to ping us on Slack or reply to this email with your feedback!

Have a great weekend! - Conlin

IndyHackers Holiday Social
The IndyHackers Holiday Social is going virtual this year! We'll be sharing more information soon, so keep an eye on our website or Slack for an update!

The Hackies are also going virtual this year! We'll have more information about that soon as well!

Hacks

For all you streamers out there, Ashlee Boyer is releasing an awesome no-code overlay tool into alpha. I know I am super excited to try it out on my personal stream!

Alex Connor revived this super neat blog aggregator for IndyHackers! If you're looking to keep up with all the stuff our community is creating, this is a great way to do that! Also, if you haven't added your blog there, you absolutely should!

Happenings

Here are some community events happening in the month of November! Be sure to check out the IndyHackers Calendar for IndyHackers events!
World Usability Day 2020 - November 12, 2020

Blogs

Jim Grey wrote some information up about his camera collection, which looks awesome!

Bradley Schaefer put out a post about building a mechanical keyboard with a rad yellow color scheme.

Ken Winner published an neat guide to using projen to deploy to AWS.

Jobs

This month we have some really great job postings from some really cool companies! Be sure to check them out!

The Hacks && Happenings newsletter is a monthly round-up of interesting projects, special events, and other newsworthy tidbits about the technical community in central Indiana. Tell your friends!

Did we miss something cool? Do you want more of X or less of Y? Just want someone to yell at? Email us at newsletter@indyhackers.org anytime.

Thanks for reading and stay awesome Indy!
