What's new at SCYAP

The interior and the exterior of the SCYAP building saw a lot of great and colourful changes in the month of October.  This can be attributed to the hard work of 2 individuals, Jordon Williams and Michelle Pritchard who we were fortunately able to employ through the Canada Summer Jobs program.  SCYAP remains open during the week days between 12pm and 4pm and new drop-in hours have been added; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm.  We are following Covid- 19 protocols and limiting the number of bodies in the building, however we are still a great place to drop-in and create some art.  As we have mentioned before we have creative content on our website for those who want to keep busy at home. Here are the links where the content can be found.

Art Leaders Candice Grosenick and Lisa Lam have been busy creating custom "take and make" art kits for children at St. Frances, St. Michaels, Westmount, Pleasant Hill, Howard Coad, and Princess Alexandra schools.  If your group or organization is interested in having custom "take and make" art kits made let us know.  In this time of social distancing being able to still be creative is very important for well being. Contact Tammy at  projects@scyapinc.com  for more information.

Thank you Saskatoon for your continuous support.
