Mae Ross died last night at VGH peacefully, quickly and pain free after dealing with some health issues.
Because of mobility issues, Mae had not been able to worship with us for the past number of years, however she was so incredibly thankful that we started using an online platform for worship during the pandemic, as she was able to re-join us these past 8 months.
The family wishes to acknowledge how important her church family was to her, and if anyone would like to honour her memory, they suggest that donations to the church in her memory would be appreciated.
There will not be a service.
Into your hands,
O merciful Saviour,
we commend your servant, Mae.
Receive her
into the arms of your mercy,
into the blessed rest
of everlasting peace,
and into the glorious company of the saints in light.
I am sure that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, no principalities,
no things present, nor things to come,
nor powers,
nor height,
nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us
from the love of God
in Christ Jesus, our Lord. (Romans 8.38-39)
Eternal rest grant unto her,
O Lord, and let perpetual light shine up on her.
