Dear <<First Name>>

May I start by saying that I hope you and your family are keeping safe and well in these continually unprecedented times.

I am writing to you now because the news below was not available when I sent out my newsletter at the end of last week, otherwise I would have included it. Can I also point out that given the lockdown that was announced at the weekend we will regretfully have to suspend surgeries and street surgeries again during November. I will again be covering these by phone, as well as responding to emails of course. If you would like a telephone appointment, then please do contact the Shoreham office as usual.

In the light of the decision by West Sussex County Council to pull all the COVID pop-up cycle lanes across West Sussex, we (Adur Conservatives) have launched a comprehensive survey to allow local people to give their feedback about what worked well and what did not work well about the Upper Shoreham Road route.

Whilst the Worthing cycle lane had few supporters and many detractors, the Shoreham route was less clear-cut and had resulted in some increased cycling usage. As it is likely there will be funding for more cycle lanes locally in the future, we want to make sure that any decisions are properly informed by the experiences of the last few months.

I would therefore urge all Adur residents, especially those who travel along Upper Shoreham Road, to give us your feedback. You can do so via the link below.

Thank you and stay safe.
