Preparing to File to LOTR

Online forms for the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) will be available in myLTSA beginning early morning (i.e. 12:01am) on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Transferees who are completing a real estate purchase on November 30, 2020 will need to have a certifier and designate available to sign LOTR documents on that day. Once the execution copy is signed by the certifier, the designate will apply an electronic signature to the online form(s) and submit to LOTR.

To prepare, designates should install a Juricert Digital Certificate in myLTSA. Once this one-time process is complete, designates can electronically sign the forms when logged into myLTSA. Additional information about the process for certification and designates' electronic signature is posted on landtransparency.ca

Additional Sample Form Templates Now Available

Additional sample form templates have been added to landtransparency.ca, including Notice to the Administrator under section 17.1, Application to Omit if Health or Safety at Risk under section 40, and Application to Correct or Change Information under section 42.

The forms are being made public to help practitioners gather client information in advance of LOTR launch. The forms are required to be submitted online in myLTSA, beginning November 30, 2020.
