GMAS Basics
Introduction to Harvard’s Grants Management Application Suite (GMAS) and how it is used to manage sponsored projects. Day 1: Basic system navigation, overview of system content, how to access project data elements, portfolio management tools. Day 2: Project creation, how to route proposals for review and sign off, review request types and guidance, project security. Visit OSP website for more info. Music, Medicine & Happiness
Fighting the pandemic has brought medical professionals across the country together in unexpected ways. Meet John Masko, HBS Case Researcher, Conductor & Founder of the National Virtual Medical Orchestra (NVMO), who brought together over 50 medical professionals from across the country to build the first of its kind, a virtual orchestra. The performance will be followed by a discussion around happiness as it relates to music with Arthur Brooks, Harvard Professor, PHD Social Scientist, Best Selling Author & Musician and Dr. Lisa Wong, Pediatrician, Musician, Author and Co-Director of Arts and Humanities Initiative at HMS.

Clinical Trials: Creating & Updating Your Record
Presenters: Amy Harchelroad, QA/QI Specialist, Office of Regulatory Affairs/Research Compliance & Eleanor Kuszmar, Associate Director, Research Compliance, Academic & Research Integrity. Discuss reasons and avenues for clinical trial reporting with a focus on ClinicalTrials.gov. Learn what studies are required to be registered and/or have results reported, along with tools/resources. Tips & tricks for keeping records up-to-date and compliant also included.
Writing a Data Management Plan

Building on Introduction to Data Management Plans, this session dives deeper into what a fundable DMP looks like and gets you started writing your own plan.
