 We all have a money story, whether we recognize it or not. Perhaps we are living from a money story of fear, shame, or guilt. Or a story that our choices will not have an impact. Or a story that we do not have enough. In times of health and crisis, we all need opportunities to both give and receive. Giving is a human need. It connects us to a larger purpose and weaves us together in community. What is your money story? What is Emmanuel’s money story? What do we really believe? What do we need to release? How can we embody the stories of who we are and who we belong to in our money stories?
 If you have Joys and/or Concerns, please email them to RevKim@EUMCLaurel.org or send them to her by text at 301-520-9219 by Wednesday evening of each week. Please make sure to give your name, and if you would like the information shared just with staff, with everyone on Sunday during our live streamed service (info will be shared on the screen during worship), and/or added to the Prayer List that is sent in this weekly E-News every Friday morning. Keep an eye out for your Stewardship mailing! Please complete the enclosed Pledge Sheet and return it to Emmanuel by Sunday, November 22. You can mail it back to the office, scan and email it to office@eumclaurel.org, or put it in a sealed envelope addressed to Becky (Church Admin.) and drop in in our locked mailbox at the entrance to the parking lot. These could include cancelled/rescheduled services or upcoming events. It might also be used in the future for contact tracing purposes should we ever need it. We are very excited that Servant Keeper, the company we use to house our church family members' information, now allows you to update your own page!

- bookmark the page so you will have easy access
- check to see if your basic contact information is correct
- upload photos of your family and the individuals in your family
- check some boxes to let us know some more things about you and your family, and the gifts you have to offer! (This information has been updated, so please log in and check out the categories! Your old information may not have been saved!)
You'll also be able to see your pledge to EUMC, and how much you have donated. (Please remember that the donation information is updated only a few times each quarter, so recent donations may not be visible right away!)
 We will have an on-line church photo directory that you can access with a password you can get from Becky. People will only be able to see the information that you allow! And only our church family will be able to access the directory, just as it is with the directory that the office creates, but now the information will always be up-to-date and at your fingertips!

Volunteers are needed to put up lights, wreaths, garland, and candles!
Join us on the second Wednesday of the month as we enjoy food, beverages, great company, and conversation via Zoom. As usual, we’ll spend some time just getting to know each other and discuss the topic of the month. No preparation necessary. All are welcome! 
Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM either outside with social distancing and/or on Zoom. All are welcome to join us for a lively discussion!
