Pablo's Pick
Grandma Lucy's Pumpkin Pouches
Pablo loves his pumpkin! So do his pack mates, Bunni, Bubba and Ellie. Not only is pumpkin tasty, it is very healthy for our cats and dogs. Read all about it in Rae’s upcoming November blog. Our Furry Fact Focus this month is also on pumpkin’s benefits. Pablo and his mates get pumpkin at every meal. A little goes a long way. It soothes the GI tract, if your pet tends to have tummy issues. It offers soluble fiber. This is helpful to “bulk up” your pet’s stool and control bouts of diarrhea.
We love the new line of Grandma Lucy’s pumpkin pouches. They offer pouches blended to help with inflammation, digestion, skin and coat and bladder. The ingredients are freeze-dried. Just add moisture and serve (we use goat’s milk, of course).
In addition to pumpkin the pouches contain whole foods. The inflammation pouch also contains ginger, turmeric, kale and blueberries. The Skin and coat pouch contains coconut, flaxseed and sunflower seeds. The bladder pouch contains kale, cranberry and broccoli. And the Digestive pouch contains beets, kale, apple and ginger.
Consider trying some pumpkin in your pet’s diet today!
