WANTED - your feedback on recent tree plantings...

Please fill out this short survey to help us better understand how effective tree planting has been for you...

SURVEY LINK HERE.

GSLN has received funding for tree planting for the next 2.5 years under the Creating Canopies Project. The objectives of this project include cooling Sydney in low canopy areas, but also habitat enhancement and increasing biodiversity.

We would like to know how widespread and how effective your tree planting projects have been since 2018 - and any information you may be able to provide us to help us improve the chances of survival for our plantings (with drought, fire, disease, herbivores etc).

Our short survey will also help GSLN better target our support for your future tree planting activities.

Any questions related to GSLN plantings - and how we can support you and your site with plants can be sent to either:

trees@greatersydneylandcare.org
or
elisha.duxbury@greatersydneylandcare.org

Again, a link to this important survey can be found here.

We are looking for new Committee members!

The Greater Sydney Landcare Network Committee meets monthly (in person or via zoom) to discuss projects, issues, ideas and Landcare across Greater Sydney in general. The Network is growing in staff, projects and budgets. We need more of you to sit in and help navigate our operations across the Region, especially if you are attached to a landcare or bushcare group. But individuals, students, landholders, researchers, professionals and anyone with an interest are also invited to join the committee. This makes for better governance, and a more informed community group.

Please consider joining or nominating someone else to join, with the form link below. The forms will be collected at the AGM and nominations accepted then. There are executive roles and various sub committees that need more people!

Bring your interest, knowledge and skills to GSLN and join our Committee...

Any questions can be sent to either:
chair@greatersydneylandcare.org
or
xuela.sledge@greatersydneylandcare.org

Please find a committee nomination form here.
