New Things in November

Our First Exhibit!

The Partnership for the Arts and Humanities is pleased to announce that our first artist to exhibit in our gallery at the Village Arts Factory will be fiber artist, Kelly Darke. A Michigan native who has been creating and studying art since high school, Kelly has opened a studio, Mindful Art Center, at the Village Arts Warehouse.

Honor a Veteran

Donate Today!

Veterans Day is November 11th. There are approximately 3,800 homeless veterans in Michigan. Your donation today will help a veteran in need with housing, clothing, meals, and rehabilitation services.

In 1943 Henry Ford repurposed a creamery building into a dormitory for disabled veterans who were coming home from WWII. It sat empty for 10 years before the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities purchased it at auction in 2012. We have renovated it to once again be a shelter for the people who served in our armed forces but now find that they need a helping hand. Together with our community partner, The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund, we are welcoming veterans who were injured in the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns to the Veteran’s Dormitory in Cherry Hill Village.

Your donation of $25 will pay for one day of housing for a veteran. Please help us, help those who served here.

Our Halloween Stroll was a Success!

2020 has been a year unlike any other. The big question right now seems to be how to stay safe, but still attempt to give our kids a sense of normalcy during the holidays in a world where everything has to be accomplished in a safe, no contact fashion. Thank you to everyone who made our Kids Halloween Stroll so special. We are so proud that we were able to have this event and still follow the social distancing guidelines in place. We are looking forward to next year!
