Hey <<First Name>>,
This is controversial... next year I'm going to earn more money and I don't want to work any harder. I don't know about you, but this year has kicked my ass. My guess is you're feeling the pressure too. Everyone I know is exhausted and I don't help myself because I'm terrible at self-care. I need to be better. So I'll say that again:
Next year I'm going to earn more money and I won't work any harder.
I know, I know... I can practically hear the scratch of eyebrows as they attempt to climb off foreheads. How can anyone earn more and not work harder? Isn't our whole society based off of driving ourselves into the ground and pushing harder, faster, better?
I call bullshit.
Trust me, it's possible to earn more if you work smarter. I used to hate that phrase because so many people throw "work smarter" around without ever really explaining what the hell it means. Then I learned what it meant for me and my business personally.
Here's how I actually plan to work smarter:
- Instead of throwing content out there based on my whims and fancies, I'm going to create useful content packed full of tangible takeaways based on the topics of the things I'm selling, i.e., my books and courses.
- Instead of trying to create completely new content for each platform, I'm going be more efficient and repurpose the content I'm creating for multiple platforms.
- Instead of guessing what you guys need, I'm going to produce content for you based on your responses to my recent audience survey.
How am I going to do all of that?
I've purchased Janet Murray's 2021 content planner which is rammed full of content ideas and advice. I'll also be attending and speaking at her conference tomorrow.
One of the awesome things about her conference is that you don't just get the conference sessions.
- You get the physical and digital planner as part of her conference ticket
- All the sessions are recorded for rewatching
- You get FOUR group coaching calls over the next year to help you stick to your content plan
- A weekly email from her with content ideas for the coming week
- Cheat sheets, checklists and templates you can use to stay on track with your content planning – throughout the year.
Here's my personalized planner!
