Last week, Joel Hobgood taught us from James 3:13-18.  Here are some key points:
  • Division starts within us.
  • If you say you are wise, your words and deeds will show it.
  • The key to unity is humility
  • The opposite of humility is chaos and selfish ambition.
  • Following the wisdom God gives you leads to good conduct and joy in trials.
  • Wise and humble living looks like the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
  • Humble yourself. Decide to be a sower of peace.
