Dear Friend,
VOTE! Today and tomorrow are your final days to vote! Drop your mail-in ballot at a 24-hour drop box or go to a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) to drop off your ballot or vote in-person. VSPCs are open until 5:00 pm today (Monday) and from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
You Can Still Register to Vote, Get a New Ballot or Get Assistance With Ballot Issues
Visit a VSPC to register or get assistance with voting. If you are a new voter, bring an ID or be prepared to provide one by November 12th. If you are a registered voter, you can get a new ballot if you didn’t receive one, can’t find it or if you made a mistake on the ballot. Be prepared to fill out the ballot while you are there – you can bring informational materials into the center if you need them.
Vote Your Mail-in Ballot if Possible
If you have your mail-in ballot, please use it to vote. Drop it in a 24-hour drop box or at a VSPC by 7:00 pm November 3rd. Find the location of your nearest drop box here.
If you are worried about whether your signature will be accepted, remember that you will be notified if there is a problem, and you will have until November 12th to cure it.
Check Your Ballot Status
Go to colorado.ballottrax.net/voter. If you vote on Election Day, or even the day before, it may not be reflected as “Accepted” for a few days.
Two Ballots for Two Different Elections
There are TWO elections going on (except in Vail). You may have received two different ballots that should be delivered to different drop box locations. Don’t mix them up!
- The General Election ballot came from the Eagle County Clerk & Recorder’s office. This ballot is used to vote for our next President! (and for many other candidates and ballot measures.) There are six drop boxes for this election or you can drop it off in person at a VSPC.
- The other ballot has a blue box on the front of the envelope and was mailed by the Eagle River Fire Protection District. That ballot must be dropped off in the red ballot drop box at 1050 Edwards Village Boulevard (the Edwards Fire Station).
- Both must be received by 7:00 pm on November 3rd.
The Avon Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) HAS MOVED
The Avon VSPC is now in the Town of Avon Municipal Building located at 100 Mikaela Way. There is still an Avon 24-hour drop box at 100 W. Beaver Creek Blvd.
