Let's be a...
Blessing
Thanksgiving may look a little different this year, but that won't stop us from spreading love and building faith in our community! LFCC, we are asking each member to help us provide a Thanksgiving meal for local families by giving $20 via CashApp ($LFCChurch). FMI, contact Elder Raymond Isham.

LET US...
PRAY
While we may not be able to gather at the altar, we can STILL gather in prayer! As you go throughout this month, please take some time to join us in prayer about the following:
  • Pray for God to grant strength, resources, and peace to families who are impacted by COVID-19.
  • Pray that the Holy Spirit gives us insights, ideas, and strategies for how we engage with Him and enhance our relationship.
  • Pray for God to guide our decisions and grant us financial stability and increase as we seek to repair and finalize the purchase of our building.

LET'S MAKE THIS BIRTHDAY...
EXTRA SPECIAL!
LFCC!! Pull out those phones and let's make sure our Pastor's birthday is one he'll always remember!! Using the link below only, we are asking everyone to submit a video (90 seconds or less) wishing Pastor Simmons a Happy Birthday. All videos MUST be submitted by Saturday. And then on Sunday, grab your signs, noise makers, and birthday cards and meet us for Pastor's Birthday Parade! We'll be meeting at Vertigo Burger at 1:45 PM to prepare and then kicking the parade off promptly at 2 PM!! The last time we did this together, our Pastor was showing his appreciation to us. This time, it's all about him and we want to make it BIG!!

Let's take...
Communion
High Holy Sunday is just a few days away and we want to take communion as a family, even under the circumstances. Stop by the church on Friday, November 6 (4 PM - 6 PM) or Sunday, November 8 (9 AM - 10 AM), to receive sacraments for you and yours. On Sunday, November 8, tune in to our Facebook, Twitter, Periscope or YouTube livestream and let's worship & partake of the Lord's Supper, TOGETHER!

LET'S PRAY!
Don't forget to join us every Thursday @ 7:30 PM as we continue to pray for our nation, our city, each other, and those affected by COVID-19. Please note these calls are now being held on Zoom. As a body of believers, it's vital that we come together and pray!

PSALM 23
The Lord is our Shepherd, and in Him we have everything that we need. Although this season has presented new challenges and even uncertainty, we can put our trust in God wholeheartedly knowing that He will always be with us. He is the God that leads, restores, and grants rest to the weary. Receive the help of the Shepherd, and let His word comfort you and your family.

Here are a few...
Community tips from health officials that may be helpful to prevent or decrease the spread of COVID-19:
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, or your elbow, if you cough or sneeze.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds or more.
  • If no soap and water are available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • If you start to feel ill, contact a medical professional immediately.
  • If you feel ill or sick, stay home out of respect for those around you and to lessen the spread of illness and germs.
  • Stay up-to-date with medical professionals' suggestions on best practices and monitor communications from your local and federal health officials.
