citizenM's 264-room, 7-story South Lake Union hotel provides affordable luxury for mobile citizens of the world by driving efficiency through 160-square-foot rooms. Utilizing full volumetric steel modular construction, this first-of-its-kind project pioneered modular construction techniques throughout the United States. Fun fact: The hotel modules, which were fabricated in Europe and shipped privately to Everett, arrived complete with all finishes, right down to the toilet paper holders, leaving only fire alarm connections, mattress, pillows and towels to install on-site in Seattle.
