Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS) is excited to announce the relaunch of Payment Compass; the self-service, online tool designed to simplify the way payees do business with UC San Diego
November 2, 2020
The relaunch of Payment Compass means Campus and Payees can access payment information and check invoice status instantly, at their convenience, whenever they need to. Payment Compass is available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week to accommodate all invoice and payment inquiry needs.
In addition to the legacy payment information from IFIS, Payment Compass now has payment information for Oracle Financials Cloud PO invoices, Concur payments, as well as payment information from shared, third-party systems such as Kuali (subaward invoices). With Oracle Financials Cloud, payment status updates pass to Payment Compass every ten minutes instead of hourly, as with IFIS, to provide a more 'real-time' user experience.
Campus and Payees can start using Payment Compass today for immediate access and visibility to:
- A list of all invoices received by UC San Diego including:
- Invoices from Oracle financial system, dating back to July 1, 2020 in addition to invoices from our legacy financial system
- Invoices submitted via any electronic method - Payment Compass, Transcepta, Oracle, or Concur
- Invoices submitted through the Payment Compass upload feature (for those suppliers not registered with Transcepta for electronic invoicing) will update to the current status once they have been processed
- Invoices submitted via other electronic methods will update to the current status once they have been processed
- Status details showing where each invoice is in UC San Diego’s review/payment process.
- Tooltip hover text offers a detailed explanation for each Status type
- Payment details for issued payments including:
- Payment Date
- Payment Number
- Payment Amount
- Answers to frequently asked questions regarding UC San Diego’s payment process
- Access to help links and additional guidance
