Gentle Reminder to VOTE!
So the exclamation mark isn't so gentle, but that's because voting is important. Did you do it yet? Did you get your sticker?

Speaking of voting - I'll only be available for half a day tomorrow (Tuesday, November 3rd) as I'm going to help some first time voters get to the polls. I'll be at my desk until 2:00pm. If you need me, show me the sticker*!

*I'm just kidding. I'll still answer you if you don't have your voting sticker. Maybe. Mostly. WHO KNOWS.
VACATION REMINDER!
If you've been a client for longer than 10 years - which most of you have and I appreciate you so very much - you know that I typically take my vacation in September so I can geek out at some nerdy convention. Alas, I have not done that in almost 7 years which means I have not had a proper vacation in that time either.

2020 has been one thousand years already and we all need a break, so I'm taking one in November.

I will be completely* unplugged from
Saturday, November 7th - Sunday, November 15th.
Mark your calendars!

*Completely is completely relative here. I will still be accessible and working for my clients on retainer, in publishing, and who have deadlines during this week - I'm not a complete monster.

(that's a lot of completes).
Last Week in Design
Nah, this wasn't a project for a client, just a little zombie trick or treat box for our home Halloween.
Schedule
The new schooling schedule is working well, so I'm keeping it pretty much the same with one change - to allow for transferring the child between the houses. See below.

Moving forward this will be my weekly schedule
unless otherwise noted or needed:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Wednesday 8:00am - 2:30pm
Saturday & Sunday - By Appointment or Deadline only
On a personal note...
Charlie was a creepy ghost thing, complete with spider webs and glowing eyes. He jumped at me once from around a corner and I didn't punch him in the face - OR have a heart attack. So I consider that a good Halloween over all.
Our home Halloween consisted of a goblin egg hunt, bobbing for apples, a trick or treat box, toilet paper mummy game, spray string, and glow lights. No one else seemed to appreciate my chocolate eye balls on this pumpkin, so I claimed the goblin egg for myself.
