Tomorrow is Election Day. Let's Make Our Voice Heard.

Election Day is finally here! Thank you to our partner APIA Vote for these resources!

Make sure you:
  • Check the rules: Does your region require you to have a valid ID to vote? Are you planning on doing same-day registration? Make sure you have all the correct documents and materials you need to vote.
  • Know your polling location or nearest ballot box: Do you know where your polling location is? It's a good idea to check ahead of time. Visit apiavote.org/location to look up your polling location or nearest ballot box.
  • Are vote plan ready: Make sure you know what's on your ballot and your voting options. Visit vote411.org for non-partisan information on what will be on your ballot.
  • Know your rights: We're expecting some regions to have long lines on election day. If you are in line before the polls close, then it is your right to stay until they let you vote. Have questions about voting or see something fishy at the polls? Call our election protection hotline at 888-API-VOTE. Live language assistance is available in English, Tagalog, and other languages.
  • Are safe: If you're voting in-person, make sure to wear a mask and social distance. Make sure to eat a full meal if you can, and get a good nights sleep so you're ready for the big day!
  • Bring your #BaonSaBotohan. Food, water, a mobile charger, hand sanitizer and a coat or umbrella depending on your local weather!

I am a byproduct of the pioneering uncles and aunties who first came here and built these communities all around the city," says Ryan. "I see my role as an obligation to my community. The community that basically raised me." Click here to read Ryan's message in full (published in Manila Mail).
