It's November already! This newsletter contains an invitation to our first contributors meetup. Moreover, you will read about the Weaviate Go client which is almost ready to release. 
 

Contributors Meetup

We're happy to invite you to our very first contributors meetup! This meetup will be hosted on 19 November. You will get the chance to meet the community and learn how you can contribute to the development of Weaviate. 

Not familiar with Weaviate, search engines or open source? Don't worry! Since this is the first presentation about Weaviate focused on contributing, we won't go too much into technical details. You will learn what Weaviate is, what you can do with it and how it works on high level. There will be a follow-up, more technical meetup organized if there's interest shown during this meetup or by the community.

This will be an online event, which you can join from anywhere in the world. Join the meetup on the official Meetup page. For example from:

Weaviate Go client in development

After successful releases of Weaviate Python and JavaScript clients, we got requests from the open source community for a Go client. We believe Weaviate clients ease the interaction between users, their programs and Weaviate. So we happily started working on a Go client, to provide also the best experience for the growing amount of developers and applications relying on Go. Good news is here: the Go client in development, and almost ready to release! Stay tuned for the official release and documentation.
