CITYPARKS GREEN GIRLS EMPOWERED BY ING AFTER SCHOOL

This year, because of the pandemic related changes, Green Girls will have a particular opportunity to focus on how climate change is affecting our city and our future. Students will learn about the history of climate action and how young people have advocated for the environment. The Green Girls will take part in this advocacy as a group.

Teen Outreach Program | Wildlife Conservation Society

Teen Outreach Program® (TOP®) is a national youth development program which helps youth develop healthy behaviors, life skills, and a sense of purpose. Program elements include service learning, group activities, and training on topics such as communication skills, relationships, goal-setting, decision-making, and more. The program will be 100% virtual. Participants must live in the Bronx.

The Marine Education Center in Mamaroneck, NY is looking for an Assistant Naturalist with interest and experience in scientific outreach and education. The Assistant Naturalist will assist and help implement new programs to expand the center. This is a fulltime position that will begin in March 2021.

November 12th, 2020, is International Day of Zoo & Aquarium Educators! We want to thank our WCS Educators, as well as all zoo and aquarium educators, who have made conservation education more accessible and are helping to bring awareness to the preservation of our flora and fauna. Zoo & Aquarium Educators work hard to bring STEM into classrooms, and connect our youth with nature. Thank you for all that you do!
