It gives us great pleasure to announce that the next international day of LGBTQ+ people in STEM will happen on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The change of date comes after the result of an open survey and months of discussion.
Learn the varied paths of women who have made careers in STEM. Whether it is in research and development, or in leadership and activism, our mentors will share their stories with teens of how their passion in STEM took them on their personal journeys towards their current careers.

The YAC will be involved in meetings and discussions of the US National Committee and play a meaningful internal role in planning and strategy, document review and finalization where the goal is to advise or suggest policy, and be involved in communications where appropriate related to US ocean community efforts.

CITYPARKS GREEN GIRLS EMPOWERED BY ING AFTER SCHOOL
This year, because of the pandemic related changes, Green Girls will have a particular opportunity to focus on how climate change is affecting our city and our future. Students will learn about the history of climate action and how young people have advocated for the environment. The Green Girls will take part in this advocacy as a group.

Teen Outreach Program | Wildlife Conservation Society
Teen Outreach Program® (TOP®) is a national youth development program which helps youth develop healthy behaviors, life skills, and a sense of purpose. Program elements include service learning, group activities, and training on topics such as communication skills, relationships, goal-setting, decision-making, and more. The program will be 100% virtual. Participants must live in the Bronx.

The Marine Education Center in Mamaroneck, NY is looking for an Assistant Naturalist with interest and experience in scientific outreach and education. The Assistant Naturalist will assist and help implement new programs to expand the center. This is a fulltime position that will begin in March 2021.
Join us for a global safari in lights featuring illuminated animals from all over the world. Our five lantern safaris, spread out throughout the park each showcase a different wildlife region and will lead you on a fun, safe, and leisurely tour of the attractions.
