Curling Camps!

On Oct. 31 the Ontario Curling Council hosted a “Build your Own Agenda” team camp at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo!  We had five teams training with on ice and off ice sessions while making sure we socially distanced ourselves.  Things went so well that we’re going to do it all over again but this time we’ll have a split Individual / Team Camp November 28!  U20 Teams can register and be assigned a coach for the day OR U15 individuals can sign up and participate in our structured camp.  More information will be posted on our website soon so keep an eye on our social media for registration information.  Spaces will be limited to ensure proper social distancing is maintained.

We’re Asking You

In each newsletter, we’ll be asking a question of you!  We’ll select answers and include them in our next newsletter! Our question from the October Newsletter:

Considering that yelling is actually classified as a moderate risk activity with Covid, how is your team planning on handling the house to sweeper communications on shots?

Our team has a precise system of hand signals.  We go so far as to practice shots by not allowing the skip to speak during the shot so that brushers are forced to look up for the signals.

Sean T

This month, our question is:

What content would you like to see on “The Inside Sheet”?  Do you have a guest you can refer to us for the show?
