Chat with the University Counseling Center

Dr. Jay E. Darr (Dr. Jay), Director of the University Counseling Center (UCC), would like to invite you to a “Let’s Chat” virtual session. These small-group, hour-long, video discussion sessions will provide the opportunity to learn and inquire about mental health resources and how you can be instrumental in supporting your student’s well-being. The University Counseling Center (UCC) is here for you. Pitt Votes and the UCC are hosting one-hour drop-in spaces for students to talk about election-related concerns and receive support. View information and register for an Election & Reflection drop-in session. 

Statement Regarding Peaceful Protests in Nigeria

The Division of Student Affairs extends our condolences to the victims and families of victims affected by the violent response to the #EndSars protests against police brutality in Nigeria. We stand in solidarity with our Nigerian students during this time of civil unrest and in support of the rights of all people around the world to the freedom of speech and peaceful protest. If you or someone you know would like additional support regarding these events, please contact the University Counseling Center (412-648-7930) or email deanofstudents@pitt.edu.

Election and U: Taking Care of Yourself and Others

Join Pitt Votes for an afternoon of decompression and recognition of community as we focus on personal and peer support. Receive information on how to take care of yourself and others. Reflection will be available for those who are experiencing election anxiety and stress. Register to attend this virtual support session.
