We are grateful for all the wonderful families, teachers and staff that make up our community at Abiding Savior.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
DISTRICT ALL-SCHOOL SERVICE PROJECT
OCTOBER 28 - NOVEMBER 17

Each year we do a special service project in our district. Please join us in supporting Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child. Our 5th Grade Class and Service Elective are working together to make this the best year yet!

We are asking you to help fill a box, two, or as many as you can hold with items such as hand towels, toys, beanies, socks, markers, and more. This will really change the life of a child in need somewhere in the world. Our goal is to fill 535 boxes!

Operation Christmas Child boxes were sent home October 28th. Please bring back your boxes by November 17th.

Dear Families,

The Fall Carnival has been postponed indefinitely. Thank you to everyone that signed up to volunteer.

We will continue to host the Auction and this year we are going virtual! The Auction will be open for bidding Tuesday, December 1st. Proceeds from the auction will support the elementary school playground renovation.

It would be a great time to shop for the Holidays while supporting a great cause. Stay tuned for details.

Thanksgiving vacation is right around the corner.
ASLS will be offering Thanksgiving Camp Monday, November 23rd through Wednesday, November 25th.

If your family needs childcare during any or all of these days, please complete the registration form and return it to the school office by Friday, November 13th.

We have re-launched our High School Ministry, which meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm. Masks are required.

We are working on re-launching Jr High Ministries and Club 56 soon as well, but we are not quite ready yet.

In-person Worship Saturday At 5:00 PM and
Sunday At 8:00 AM and 10:15 AM

We will hold in-person worship on Saturday at 5:00 PM and Sunday at 8:00 AM and 10:15 AM in the sanctuary.
Masks are required for those over 10 years old.
Physical distancing will still be in place.
Hand sanitizer will be available and we encourage you to use it as you enter.
The Saturday 5:00 PM service is informal worship. The Sunday 8:00 AM service is classic worship. The Sunday 10:15 AM service is Abiding Praise worship.
The restrooms attached to the church/classrooms will be open.

We will live stream the 10:15 AM worship service. The video of the service will also be posted online so that you may view it at any time during the week. You can find the link to the upcoming stream above.

Donate items to Abiding Savior's Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at Abiding Savior serves local families by providing supplemental groceries to people who cannot afford enough food to sustain themselves and their families. Join us in helping in our community. The Food Pantry is run solely on donations. We are in need of the following items:

Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Spam, Peanut Butter, Jelly,
Boxed Macaroni & Cheese, Spaghetti Sauce, Pasta, Rice, Dried Beans,
Ramen, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Pancake Mix (only add water)

There is a bin in the Narthex where you can putyour donation as you come to church.
You may also drop off your donation to the church office during the week.
