Worship Song Covers

English Worship Team
Written by Pastor Jason
One of the joys we miss is singing as a big choir in the church sanctuary.  Our voices merged, our emotions poured forth, our praise erupting toward God.

While singing together virtually is nothing close, we continue still.

Did you know, in our Sunday online services, even though playing a recording of our songs would be much better quality-wise, we've purposefully chosen to lead most of our songs live to maintain, as best we can, a sense that we are together in time and place

There is no right way of doing this, of course.  But I'm thankful for our worship team who have been thoughtful and dedicated to leading all of us in worship.  (Thank you team!)

Nevertheless, I encourage you all to worship throughout the week by listening to the songs we sing, through this playlist of Worship Covers.  The most recent recording is of the beautiful Advent song by Andrew Peterson, Behold the Lamb of God.  Praise God!

Every Season Marriage Group
Beginning January 2021

Beginning early next year, Pastor Jason will host a group for married couples.

Every season, the group will meet for a time of learning, prayer and, most of all, encouragement.  We want marriages to flourish, and our hope is to foster our journeys together in Christ.

These two questions will shape every gathering:

1. What does it look like for our marriages to be in Christ?
2. What are practical ways we can begin to nourish our marriages?

The group beginning in January are for for couples married up to 7 years.  A second group, for those married 8+ years, is planned to start in Spring.

If you are interested to join, or want to learn more about this group, send a message to Pastor Jason at jason.cheung@rcac.ca

Jesus & Justice Conference

 Videos
This conference was held from October 15-17, 2020, and all the talks can be found here on this YouTube playlist

Highlights, recommended by Eugene Au, include:
  • Brian Doerksen on art (and artists) and justice
  • Cheryl Bear's Indigenous perspectives on decolonization
  • Jeremy Johnson on the role of local church communities in seeking justice to make visible the Kingdom of God
These would be great for self-learning, or learning together with your friends.

Sunday Worship on Zoom

Worshiping together online is far from ideal, but we continue to find joy being in the presence of God and one another (virtually).

It can feel strange at first, but we aim on singing praise, praying together, and learning from God's Word proclaimed.

Recently we have changed how new friends can join our online worship.  There is now a short form to fill out, and soon after a pastor will be in contact to welcome you personally.

Sign Up and Connect Here

Alternatively, you may also participate by watching the recorded Zoom service that is posted on our website at 10:30am every Sunday (click the link on the image above to view the most recent worship service).
