Dear Annunciation Families,
Last Friday our APO hosted the 2nd Virtual Coffee with the Principal of the school year. Our International Baccalaureate (IB) Director, Sheila Loschy, and I shared some highlights of the IB program. We are in our 3rd year as an authorized IB School and 2 years prior to this we were an IB Candidate School.
A major strength of this program is the authentic, inquiry-based and concept driven approach to teaching. Mrs. Loschy will be sharing more information about the IB program with the community in upcoming Weekender editions.

POSSIBLE COVID SCENARIOS:
Scenario 1: Dad and/or sibling isn't feeling well. They have a runny nose, some chills (no fever) and have a headache. The family has 3 kids at the school. What should we do for school tomorrow?
|
|
Scenario 2: I just found out our cousins all tested positive for COVID. We had a playdate with them this past weekend.
|
|
Scenario 3: My wife was identified as a close contact of a co-worker. She is on quarantine for 14 days. Do all of our kids need to stay home too?
|
|
As we look forward to Thanksgiving Break, we ask you to please be mindful of your travel plans. Travel increases the chance of getting and spreading COVID. Though staying home is the best way to protect yourself and others, including our Annunciation community, from COVID, we understand that Thanksgiving is a popular time for families to vacation or visit extended family.
You can check the status of cases for your destination here:
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#cases_casesinlast7days.
Also, each state's department of health has specific county information.
Thank you!

There are 2 ways to donate:
- Bring in a $50 Cub Foods gift card.

The online application is now open! Please click here for the Annunciation enrollment process, to schedule a tour, and to complete the online application:
https://www.annunciationmsp.org/school/new-families/admissions
We are already seeing a high number of inquiries for next school year! (* please note, families with current students already at Annunciation do not need to tour, they can simply complete the application for their new student, and submit their child's preschool screening or transcripts.)
If you refer a family to Annunciation and they take a tour, you will receive a $50 referral credit on your tuition next year. If that family enrolls, you will receive an additional $200 credit on your tuition! You must email Jennifer Renstrom if you refer a family in order to receive credit: jrenstrom@annunciationmsp.org.
Enrollment for CURRENT students for the 2021-2022 School Year
For the 2021-22 school year, Annunciation School will again use a continuous enrollment model. Students in grade K-7 will be automatically re-enrolled in mid-January, 2021. You will then receive an email from TADS to log on to your billing account to complete registration and set up your tuition agreement.
