Construction on the new reading room was completed just as the pandemic hit and closures began. Our grand-opening reception was scheduled for March 13th, the very day the library made the difficult decision to close the library building to the public. As a result, we may not have had the opportunity to property all of you. From all of us here at the library: THANK YOU. Your donations, both great and small all contributed to making this happen and we cannot wait to share this space with our community.

ROTENA NIPPERT
All of us at the library are deeply saddened by the passing of long time trustee and volunteer Rotena (Tena) Nippert. On Mondays when Tena worked in the library, she always spoke proudly of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Tena excitedly filled us in on the weekend model airplane meets and the accomplishments of her bowling students. She had a smile for everyone and always recognized and remembered all of her former students, even years later. We wish to thank Tena and her family for all the hard work and support shown to the library over the years.
CAROL WOLZ
The library community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Carol Wolz. Carol facilitated the library’s book club for years - and she always brought an object relevant to the book discussion, something that related to the story. Over the years, Carol donated several very detailed paper architectural models to the library (including one of the White House), which are on display around the building. Carol was a bright spot and her involvement brought vivacity and life into the library and she will be missed.
