November - 2020

 Our Fundrasing Campaign begins today

and ends December 31st! 
Today, we are launching our In-Between Fundraising Campaign which supports our school as we navigate towards the end a very unpredictable and trying academic year while looking forward to the start of our new school year filled with possibilities and opportunities to provide a dignified education to Andean children and youth of the Sacred Valley of Peru.  We have been moving our entire end of the year creative efforts to raise funds hosted on our online platform here: https://kusikawsay.org/appeal-for-funding/2020-fundraising-campaign/.
 
We have shared the admirable, resilient and strong spirit of our youth.  They are responsibly studying thanks to their dedicated teachers who are accompanying them during these challenging times. Our community is very focused on continuing the opportunities and our vision of realizing an education that respects and values Andean ancestral wisdom, the traditional knowledge and the ancient language that permeates these mountains and is ever present in the Sacred Valley.
 
Our Campaign will start today, November 1st and will be online until December 31st. Our goal is very ambitious: 50.000 USD. If this pandemic has taught us one thing, it is how incredibly interconnected and interdependent we all are.  We have had ups but we have also had downs.  It has been hard and raw and entailed tears but also strength, renewal, perspective and the determination to give it all we've got to ensure that the future generations have access to the education, upbringing and needs they so rightfully deserve.  We are sure that with your support it is possible - a lot of small actions accumulate into a greater good. You will be able to donate different amounts to what resonates with your heart, each one supporting a different integral part of Kusi Kawsay. 

In gratitude for your donation and with high hopes that 2021 will be more tender to all of us, our community has created a beautiful 2021 Kusi Kawsay desktop calendar that will be sent to you.  (Don't forget to include your email address when donating).
The months of lockdown have been a time of uncertainty and change. But they have also been a time of new challenges and of personal and collective discoveries.
During this time, the young women of Kusi Kawsay share about their experience: their dreams and everyday adversities, the hope and the joy of living.
