Here's an update on proposed protected bike lanes on San Vicente

We distributed a survey that to date has received 278 responses (88% in favor). Wilshire Vista Neighborhood Association distributed a survey and the results showed 142 responses (73% in favor). The PICO Neighborhood Council released a survey but then changed it significantly.

If you live in the area: even if you have already taken another survey, please take this new survey, as it is now PICO NC’s “official” survey. People have reached out to us saying some survey questions confused them, so we wanted to offer guidance:

- Metro’s Crenshaw Line Northern Extension is years away and will likely be underground if it runs on San Vicente at all (see page 38).

- If you SUPPORT the protected bike lane, we recommend: 1 (YES), 2 (NO), 3 (YES), 4 (NO), 5 (NO), 6 (NO), 7 (NO), 8 (NO)

- If you OPPOSE the protected bike lane, we recommend: 1 (NO), 2 (YES), 3 (NO), 4 (YES), 5 (YES), 6 (YES), 7 (NO), 8 (NO)

We are sorry for this long, winding road, but we hope that at their November meeting, the PICO NC will finally vote on the project.

Distribuimos una encuesta que a la fecha ha recibido 278 respuestas (88% a favor). La Asociación de Vecinos de Wilshire Vista distribuyó una encuesta y los resultados mostraron 142 respuestas (73% a favor). El Consejo Vecinal de PICO publicó una encuesta, pero luego la cambió significativamente.

Si vives en la zona: Incluso si ya ha realizado otra encuesta, responda esta nueva encuesta, ya que ahora es la encuesta "oficial" de PICO. Las personas se comunicaron con nosotros para decirnos que algunas preguntas de la encuesta los confundieron, por lo que queríamos ofrecerles orientación:
