I have been holding onto some very good news since early February, and it is time to let you in on it! This announcement was originally supposed to be made at the Legend's Ball in May while we were twirling in our ball gowns but...#2020.
As so many of you know, with God's help, and a few thousand miracles along the way, I founded Stripped Love over a decade ago in 2010. Across these last eleven years, it has been my incredible privilege to walk with women along the rocky road out of fear and into love.
Because of your support and the unmerited favor of our King this ministry has grown, flourished and spread across the United States to several cities and states, and has seen over 60 women transition from a life of explotiation and trafficking to find freedom.
As we look to life after 2020, and dream new and bold dreams for the future of Stripped Love, I am so happy to introduce you to the bright and gifted young woman who will succeed me as the next CEO of our ministry.
I first met Audrey Weiger as a passionate undergraduate student at Anderson University leading an inspiring campus ministry supporting anti trafficking efforts around the globe. We were instantly kindred spirits and have been friends and allies in the fight ever since!
Audrey Weiger holds an M.B.A. from Anderson University and is married to one of my favorite guys, Joshua Weiger. They both recently returned home from the mission field where Audrey served as Operational and Public Relations Director for Pink Door (a long-term recovery program for women transitioning from forced prostitution and sex trafficking) in Berlin, Germany. Audrey is mama to two beautiful children and is a certified Holy Yoga instructor.
There are one million amazing things I could tell you about Audrey, but here's what you should know. When I knew it was time for me to transition into a founder role and dream about a new and fresh leader for the role of CEO, my heart found the name Audrey Weiger and God was speaking to her heart at the same time, and here we are. If it sounds like I'm excited about Audrey, it's because I'm over the moon about her and that she is the person I believe God has chosen to lead us through this next chapter.
