 Late Start Reminder
This is just a reminder that Friday, November 6th is a Late Start Day! Teachers will be checking in with their students at 9:10 am via WebEx...however there will be no other classroom activities that day as the teachers have Professional Development. Thank you!

 Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Thank you to our PTO for sponsoring the annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest - virtual this year! The categories were Day of the Dead, Classic Jack-o-Lantern, and Costume Pumpkin. The winners were Savannah J., Claire P., and Adrienne B. pictured below (left to right). Congrats to these students, and thank you to all of our students who participated! The winners will get their design on an Artsonia t-shirt and all of the participants will receive a prize next week. All of the decorations can be viewed in this week's Hawk News!

 Code of Conduct
If you haven't already, please don't forget to click here to access an electronic version of the revised Code of Conduct for the 2020-2021 school year. After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgement that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book.  Parenting Safe Children
While we were set to host this amazing Parenting Safe Children workshop this year for our school community parents, we decided to wait until next year to revisit this idea. This workshop is so worthwhile, though, that we wanted all to know that it is available via zoom twice in the next coming months. This year we will be having an Online Book Fair through Follett Books. Shop from a wide selection of great books, support literacy, and benefit our school at the same time.
