Since we announced that Christmas in the Ville will be broadcast over Nashville area television channels, some have asked about Christmas Eve services.  While it is still a couple of months away, we can share our plans.

Christmas Eve services are high on our priority list each year.  It is a special time to gather families to worship with the singing of carols, lighting of candles and observing the Lord’s Supper.  We certainly want to provide for this opportunity.  In fact, if there has ever been a year that we need to celebrate Christmas…it is 2020!

Plans are being made to have services in the sanctuary and Wilson Hall.  The services will be as identical as possible.  Same songs.  Same children’s time with the pastor.  Same message.  Both will be led musically by vocal ensembles.

Because we social distance, additional services will be added this year.  Last year there were 5 services.  There will be ten this year.  Two services will be held each of the following hours: 2pm, 3:30pm, 5pm, 6:30pm, 8pm (simultaneously in Sanctuary and Wilson Hall).

Everyone will be asked to choose a particular service and register for that service.  An online registration will be activated at the end of November.  This will allow us to monitor the number of attendees.  If these services fill, we will be ready to add additional hours.

Plan now to make the Christmas Eve service a part of your family celebration.

The ministry of FBCH continues.
