The Garcia Family lives in extreme poverty. Katherine, the mom, survived open heart surgery barely one year ago and her health is extremely fragile. While she and her husband, Javier, do everything in their power to bring food to the table for their five children, life's challenges are proving too great and the odds that this family will survive dwindle almost daily. The COVID pandemic has complicated an already overwhelming reality for this family. We need your help so that HRI can give them a hand up and one last opportunity for this family, and more specifically, for these 5 children to have a chance at life.
