The Western Forest Genetics Association (WFGA) and the Canadian Forest Genetics Association (CFGA)/l’Association canadienne de génétique forestière (ACGF) will jointly host a virtual Forest Genetics Student and Postdoc Symposium on May 19-20, 2021.
This on-line symposium will show-case forest genetics research undertaken by undergraduate, master’s and PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers. Short pre-recorded presentations will be followed by live Q&A sessions. Poster sessions and chat rooms for networking will also be offered.
A call for abstracts, link to the symposium’s website and other details will be provided in a forthcoming email. In the interim, please save these dates.
The in-person conference scheduled for 2021 in British Columbia, Canada, has been postponed due to the uncertainty about restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It has been re-scheduled to 2022. Stay safe.
