Pacific Coast Interfaith Communicators

MISSION: Promote religious literacy, interfaith appreciation and cooperation, and excellence in religious publicity and secular journalism focused on religion

Letter from the Editor

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the first edition of a twice-monthly message from the Pacific Coast Chapter and virtual group of the Religion Communicators Council! The RCC National Board of Governors recently set a priority to outreach and engage with members and stakeholders in the Western U.S. region, foster interfaith communications, and support and develop religion communicators.

Each edition will feature valuable resources and tools to strenghten your communications capacity and best practices. Each edition will highlight compelling content and conversations to encourage discussion of mutual concerns. Each edition will foster the exchange of ideas that build and support the understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of religious faith, faith communities, and diverse faith groups.

We are excited to announce an informative and inspiring webinar for World Interfaith Harmony Week (#WIHW2021 Feb 1-7) in cooperation with the Southern California Committee for the Parliament of World's Religions and the Unity and Diversity World Council. More details and a call-to-common-action in the next edition.

Sincerely,

patrick.horn@religioncommunicators.org
