Hi <<First Name>>,

This week marks #IRemember, where we are creating a space to share memories, to start the conversation and to break the taboo around death, dying and bereavement.
We've seem some brave, generous and incredibly touching stories this week, showing us that grief becomes part of our life stories, and shapes how we live the rest of our lives.

There is still time to get involved if you haven't already. All you need to do is:
  • Share a memory of someone you would like to remember - this can be anyone - a friend, a family member, a colleague or a pet. You can include a photo, a video or just stick to text if you want.
  • Post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #IRemember and tagging @DyingMatters.
#IRemember webinar: Watch it again

Tomorrow evening, we will be welcoming former palliative care doctor and end of life campaigner Dr Kathryn Mannix and personal recovery coach, Julie New, talking to Hospice UK CEO Tracey Bleakley in a one-off webinar as part of #IRemember.

The webinar is fully booked, but don't worry if you didn't manage to register as you can watch it again on Friday 30 October.

We'll be sharing the link on the Dying Matters website and social channels on Friday, so stay tuned.

Help us improve our website
We’re going through an exciting period at Hospice UK, the parent charity of Dying Matters, and we’re looking to improve the way we use digital so that we create useful, engaging digital experiences that support the public in finding out more about hospice care and having conversations around death and dying as well as supporting professionals in their work.

The first big project we’re working on is to improve our websites. We know that people find our information and advice highly useful but also that they sometime struggle to find what they need between our different websites.

We’ve launched a survey aimed at the public and professionals to find out more about our digital audiences.
Fill in the survey
The survey should only take 5-10 minutes to fill in. It will be open for two weeks until 10 November and we’ll then be looking to do some interviews with members of the public about their experiences of hospice care.

If you have any questions about the research please email Suzannah Brown at s.brown@hospiceuk.org
