Alpha Girls, award-winning journalist Julian Guthrie takes readers behind the closed doors of venture capital, an industry that transforms economies and shapes lifestyles. Guthrie follows the lives and careers of four women who were largely written out of history – until now. Guthrie discusses her book in this final event sponsored by the Los Altos Women’s Suffrage Coalition
Moderator for the evening program is Foothill-De Anza College District’s Chancellor Judy Miner, who will lead the discussion with Guthrie and follow up with a panel featuring five women with distinguished careers in Silicon Valley. See more on Los Altos Women’s Caucus website.
The event has been organized by the Women’s Suffrage Coalition of Los Altos: Los Altos City Council, Los Altos History Museum, Los Altos Library, Los Altos Women’s Caucus and Los Altos Youth Commission, with support from the County of Santa Clara.
